In order for wireless 9-1-1 calls to be effective, emergency systems must have the proper technology in place. TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) is the first company in the United States to complete an enhanced 9-1-1 call, and it’s at the center of the next phase of 9-1-1 services, which would replace the current 9-1-1 networks to provide support for emergency text messages, images and video or additional data such as telematics, building plans and medical information.

Maponics Moving to API Model

Maponics LLC, a provider of neighborhood boundary data, recently announced the beta release of its MAPONICS SPATIAL API - Neighborhood Data to selected existing customers. With this move, Maponics becomes the first data development company to deliver its entire neighborhood dataset via an application programming interface (API).
