How do I register for the conference?
Registration opens March 15 and can be accessed through the GeoTec Event website. Visa, MasterCard and signed government purchase orders are accepted.

Is free Wi-Fi available to attendees?
No. The conference does not supply free Wi-Fi for attendees.
Is there a government registration?
Yes, there is a government registration type that does not include the tax. A valid tax-identification certificate must be supplied at time of registration.
Who is eligible for the Student/Educator discounted registration?
Students at an accredited institution with a valid student identification card are eligible. Professors/teachers from an accredited institution must supply documentation. A request on university letterhead to attend the conference will suffice. The documentation or identification card will be required at registration prior to badge pick-up.
Does GeoTec Event supply computers for the presentations?
No. Speakers must supply their own laptops. The GeoTec Event does not supply computers.
Is there an Internet connection for the presenters in the session rooms?
Yes. Speakers will have an Internet connection available in the session rooms.
Is there a speaker-ready room?
Yes, in the staff office. Speakers will have an internet connection and area to check over their presentations. The location of the staff office/speaker-ready room will be sent to speakers shortly before the conference.
What is the cancellation policy?
Registrations canceled prior to June 1 will be refunded, minus a 50% fee. No refunds will be made after June 1, however substitutions can be made.
Is there an additional cost for meals and social events?
Meals, coffee breaks and social events are included in the price of a paid, full registration. Other registration types may purchase meal tickets.
Will there be a career center?
Yes, a poster board will be in the registration area for resumes and job postings.
How do I obtain a visa to attend the conference?
It is the attendee’s responsibility to obtain the visa, but the GeoTec Event will help by issuing a formal invitation the conference. Once you have registered for the conference, contact Katie Smith, Conference Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org, for the formal invitation to attend the conference. Please register and request your invitation letter as early as possible because visa often takes a long time to obtain.
